The headlamp features a power-off state and a power-on state. In the power-off state, a single click of the switch turns on the white light mode, and a single click turns it off. In the power-on state, a long press of the switch for 1 second enters the 5-level dimming mode, where the mode changes every 1 second. You can release the switch when you reach the desired level, and the selected level will be memorized as the default for the white light mode. The dimming levels range from high brightness at 100% to medium-high at 65%, medium at 30%, medium-low at 15%, and low at 7.5%, looping back to high brightness.

In the power-off state, a long press of the switch enters the moonlight mode, and another long press turns the headlamp off. In this mode, a single click of the switch does not execute any command.

In any state, a double click of the switch enters the turbo mode. This mode will not be activated if the internal temperature of the headlamp is above 55 degrees Celsius, and it will automatically switch to the next level. The turbo mode will automatically switch to the white light mode after 30 seconds or if the internal temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius.

Double-clicking the switch again cycles through the strobe, SOS, and beacon modes. Subsequent double-clicks will loop through these modes, while a single click will return to the previous mode.
